High-Pressure Moisture Removal for CBW Systems
The StarFish Membrane Extraction Press (also available in Piston-Type configurations) is an ultra-heavy-duty hydraulic moisture removal system engineered to seamlessly integrate with continuous batch washing (CBW) setups in massive commercial laundry plants and centralized hospital facilities. Positioned immediately after the tunnel washer, this industrial laundry press is designed to handle enormous bulk batches, replacing traditional centrifugal extractors to eliminate workflow bottlenecks and drastically speed up production.
By utilizing a massive hydraulic piston combined with a heavy-duty, flexible rubber membrane, this hydraulic water extraction press applies uniform, extreme pressure (up to 40–50 bars) to the wet linen batch. This high-pressure moisture extraction forces out maximum water in a matter of seconds without tearing or damaging the textiles. Built with an ultra-rigid SS 304 stainless steel frame to withstand immense mechanical forces, the StarFish Extraction Press captures the expelled water and pumps it directly back into your tunnel washer systems for reuse.
